The next meeting is at Seabreeze Recreation at 6:30 PM on Tuesday March 22.

Wendy Kool will show us another male card in the car series.

You will need: white base card 6.5 x 10, black mat cut 6 3/8 x 4 7/8,  card stock top 6 3/16 x 4 7/8 in light blue or light gray. We will be stamping and heat embossing the car image on a precut form, so one or two heat guns would be useful. Also bring: Fine tip dispensing clear glue for adhering delicate dies, and your regular card making tools.
Inks, rubber stamps, die cuts, embossing power and Versamark stamp pad will be provided.

The second half of the class will be devoted to cutting from various dies that were on display at our last gathering, so bring lots of card stock (plain and patterned)….. Samples below.

**Any extra Cuttlebug or Big Shot die machines available, will be beneficial in reducing the wait time as there are many dies that will be at your disposal. Also pick tool for releasing small pieces from dies will be helpful.

Wendy Kool will show us two male cards.

Card #1.

You will have your choice of creating either background. The card on the left has a double tree image
made by stamping a black tree inside the embossing folder. Card on the right has a die cut flourish tree.

Items supplied: glossy black and silver papers for die cutting and layering the car, embossing folder and the tree stamp.
You will need: white base card 6.5 x 10, black mat cut 6 3/8 x 4 7/8, card stock top 6 3/16 x 4 7/8 in light blue, light gray or light green/sage, colors that will work best for the small sentiment oval and a rubber stamp if you want to add your own wish. Fine tip dispensing clear glue for adhering delicate dies.

Card #2.

For the steel blue shimmer car a pale blue paper (ok with a small design), and for the gold shimmer car a beige light caramel paper will make a nice contrast.

Items supplied: Car Mat, black gloss paper for car topper, lacy die for car, sign post pieces, black tree cutout and inks to sponge/create roadway.
You will need: Card base and black mat, same sizes as above for card #1. Paper for car background, same size as card #1 top and Post-it notes for sponging.
Suggestion.. if you can, bring both blue and beige backgrounds and white and cream card base so you can create which ever car is available Which ever one you do you will need a small piece of the matching paper for the wording on the sign, 1 x 1.5.

And your usual supplies/tools.

Bring your cameras to take pictures of sample cards that we will be doing on March 22 so you will have a better idea of paper possibilities for the various dies that will be available.
