The next meeting is at Seabreeze Recreation at 6:30 PM on Tuesday February 23.

Shirley will show us how to make a mini album from one sheet of double sided paper. It is

suitable for small pictures, quotes, prayers, etc.

You need all the usual crafting supplies.
1 sheet of 12" x 12" double sided designer paper.
Bone folder.
Score tape or sticky strip no larger than 1/4" or liquid glue if you don't have tape.
Ink pad and sponge for distressing edges. Not absolutely necessary, but it looks nice.
Scrap cardstock in coordinating color for the book binding, cut at 4" x 1 1/4".
Score at 1/2" and 3/4" or washi tape (I like the binding and then add washi tape).
Large score board.
Paper cutter.
Ribbon of your choice, about 20".
Assorted scrap paper and punches for flowers, birds, leaves, etc., as desired to
embellish.

Any questions call Shirley at 352-350-2275.

From Judy:

We will be making cards that can be used for birthday, anniversary, thinking of you , etc
using 2 heart die cuts (1 of them is a 2 piece die)

I have die cut the larger heart, using many colors of sparkle paper, for everyone to use.
I also have die cut the "smaller" 2 piece die in white sparkle for everyone.

Along with your regular supplies, please bring the following:
White cardstock for card and layering
Black, red and printed cardstock for small heart (white sparkle) card or any solid/pattern
color of your choice to use in making this card
Jewels, ribbon, stickles, small flowers or other embellishments
Scoreboard and paper cutter
Any solid and pattern paper you want to use to die cut more hearts for your use

I will bring small flower punches and embossing folders that I used in the samples

See you Tuesday night
