The next meeting is at Seabreeze Recreation at 6:30 PM on Tuesday November 24.

Jeanette and Sandy will be doing Christmas cards.

You will need to bring paper and embellishments of your choice,
a card you want to share and your usual tools.

The next meeting is at Seabreeze Recreation at 6:30 PM on Tuesday  November 10.

You will need:

A 12x12 piece of card stock, white or a Christmas color and a 2 1/2" wide
by 5 1/2" long piece of the same color, or print paper.
A piece of a Christmas design to add to the card stock, color coordinated.
2 pieces of ribbon 10 1/2 inches long by 3/4" or 1" wide (satin is best).
A paper cutter.
A score board (if your cutter has a scorer you don't need this).
Double sided tape 1/2" or 3/4'' wide.
And your usual supplies.

I will supply brads and other odds and ends.


This is our only meeting this month.

I will bring a sign-up sheet for our Christmas party on December 8, which
will be our last meeting of the year. Bring ideas for a grab-bag thing.

Stamping Around the Villages

At the Tuesday meeting on October 27 at 6:30PM
Jan Hoyt will be doing a tri-fold Christmas card.

You will need:
A solid  colored piece of card stock 8 1/2 x 11;
Designer paper to match and embellishments;
White card stock for your inside verse;
A paper cutter and scorer blade;
And your usual tools.

She will have ink pads and stamps for you to use, you can also bring your own.

At the Tuesday meeting on October 13 at 6:30PM
Shirley will show us the Napkin Fold Card.

The needed supplies are:
Paper Cutter
Scoring board (large) and diagonal plate if you have one
Bone folder
Liquid glue or glue stick as well as regular adhesive
Dimensionals
Regular  stamping supplies

Cardstock – for 4” card – 2 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 and coordinating designer        paper;

                 for 6” card – 2 sheets of 12 x 12 cardstock (make sure it is actually 12” square) and coordinating designer paper;

                 white or vanilla cardstock and stamp and ink of your choice for your sentiment.

There is a lot of cutting and scoring so paper cutter and scoring tool are necessary.

Stamping Around The Villages

Our next meeting is on Tuesday September 8 at 6:30 PM.

I will demonstrate a technique called Batik on paper.

You will need to bring:
White card stock or craft paper 4 1/4" x 5 1/2";
Bold stamps (a couple of combinations);
Two stamp pads that have colors that go together;
A Versamark stamp pad, if you have one;
Dabblers or sponges;
A heat gun, if you have one;
Clear embossing powder if you have it
and you're usual tools.

At our next meeting, on Tuesday August 25 at 6:30 PM,
Judy will show us a various Christmas cards.

Here is a list of supplies that may be useful for Tuesday night at Seabreeze - besides
usual supplies, ladies may want to bring the following:

Cuttlebug/Big Shot for die cuts

For ornament die cuts-sparkle/holographic papers with coordinating solid or print papers

For the deer card , a background paper to use with the pine tree embossing folder

Solid colors: blues, greens, silver, gold, browns, white, reds, purples

"Shiny" papers in white, blue, green

For Christmas present card, consider silver or gold for bows or use the same color as your card to
coordinate with printed squares for presents

I will bring pieces of "washi" papers, and some sparkle and "shiny" papers to share along with the die cuts
and embossing folders

If needed, I'm willing to stay until 9 PM for everyone to die cut what they want to do

I do have some extra ornament stickers for those who want more or missed the last meeting when we
made the ornament card

Stamping Around

At our next meeting, on Tuesday August 11 at 6:30 PM,
Judy will show us an ornament sticker card.
She has the sheets of stickers at $1.90 per sheet.

You will need:
sheet of white cardstock;
silver paper - 5 1/4" x 4";
narrow gold ribbon - 1/4"
dimentionals;
Exacto knife or tweezers;
and your usual supplies.
