At our next meeting at Seabreeze, February 10 at 6:30 PM, Sandy will show us
how to create two easel cards.
Both of them are designed to be birthday cards for men. You will need:
CARD #1
-Double Fold Easel--Lighthouse Scene:
-Paper Trimmer (I don't think a rotary cutter will work as you need a cutter with ruler measurements);
-Scoring blade/tool/board;
-colored pencils or copic/blendabilities markers;
-brown ink pad for greetings & 2nd card;
-light blue ink pad and dauber/sponge to fill in sky for both cards;
-small corner punch--scallop is nice;
-glitter pen;
-yellow stickle (if you have it).
CARD #2
-Triple fold easel--Palm Tree Island Scene:
-1 scrap of white cardstock (at least 6 x 6);
-green ink pad to stamp palm tree island;
-aqua blue ink pad for ocean & dauber or sponge (different blue than blue for sky);
-2-- 4 3/8 x 5 3/4 envelopes if you like to stamp on your envelopes;
-Basic supplies & tools including scissors, adhesives, pop dots, glue dots, bone folder, ruler, pencil etc.
I will provide the 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 card stock for both cards and nautical embellishments, stamp & cut the lighthouse scene to save time, and have colored pencils, stamps, ink pads, stickle etc. for the women to use if they don't have an item. I will have copies of the templates and directions for everyone to take with them.
